Who Are We

The Cyber Sathi was founded in 2018 with a mission to bridge the critical gap in support for victims of cybercrime, digital fraud, and online harm. Seeing the rising threat of cybercriminals and the lack of adequate assistance, we came together as a charity, powered by the cybersecurity community, to provide individuals and families with the protection and guidance they urgently need.

We witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of cybercrime—ranging from cyberstalking and hacked accounts to fraud, intimate image abuse, and ransomware. The financial and emotional toll on victims is immense, yet many are left without the support they need to fight back against skilled cybercriminals. Determined to change this, we developed a unique approach that leverages the expertise of cybersecurity professionals. Through our free 24/7 self-help service and confidential helpline, we empower individuals and sole traders to understand, contain, and recover from cyberattacks.

Since our launch, Cyber Sathhi has helped over 800,000 users, with our self-help service providing direct assistance to more than 60,000 victims. Every day, we remain committed to ensuring that those affected by cybercrime receive the guidance and support they need to navigate and recover from these challenges.
